12 days of Christmas

This is my Dlo on 12 days of Christmas. In my group I had Sanujan and Chavda. I had to write how many thing my true love gave to me.

Room 7's Overall flag vote

We had to deiced if we want the new flag or the original flag. I voted the original flag because it means we are apart of the commonwealth and it as the southern cross symbol on it. The original flag had 15 votes and the new flag as 8. The flag I voted is the original.

The Favorite flag was the red, white, blue fern Flag. I think the flag was the favorite because of design on the flag and it as the same colours as the original flag. The least favorite flag is the red peak. Only one person chose the Red peak flag in the class. 

Xtra Maths Reflection

This is my results on Xtra Maths. I got 91 right because I have been working hard on my maths at home. I got 10 wrong because some of the questions were a kind of hard for me then I just had to guess. I need to improve on those ones I got wrong. I will work at home on my maths to complete addition and finish Xtra Maths.

My Edited Piece of Writing

On Saturday I was at my Papa's, Aunt’s, and Uncle’s, house getting ready for halloween. When I saw my Papa he was dressed up in a very spooky zombie costume then I was dress up as a purple bat. Me and my Papa were ready for halloween. Me and my Papa were going around the houses asking for lollies.

Once we went to a house that was very black and very spooky.My Papa got scared but I told him don’t worry because It's just a house full of halloween decorations. There were lots of spiderwebs, bats and witch decorations. I knocked on the door and out came a man dressed as a ghost and then a lady came out to give us some yummy sweets. “Happy trick or treating” I said to them next. I went down to another house that wasn't spooky at all.

It only had spiders and a black witch’s broom. I knocked on the door and out came a black witch. The black witch gave us chocolate and pumpkin candy’s.

When we stopped at Kings Road we saw my friend Zara and her Dad Babu they were going trick or treating for yummy treats. Me and my Papa were walking to Zara and a

asked if we can come with you to get yummy treats then she said yes. When we stopped down at the cafe we had a hot chocolate drink and a strawberry cupcake. We went back down to Coral Cress to go to another houses for trick or treating. When we saw another house that was even scarier I said happy trick or treat and then out came a spider. The spider was only a decoration and a man came to give us lollies and chocolate. It was fun at halloween night. When I got tied it was time to go home I said bye to my friend Zara and went home to eat all the goodies I had and I ate them all.

Xtra Maths Reflection

This is my results on Xtra Maths. I got 84 right because I have been working at home on my maths. I got 7 wrong because some of the questions were very hard. The questions I was worried about is 7+9, 7+8 and 8+4. I need to improve on these questions 7+9, 7+8 and 8+4 , 2+4. Those are the questions I need to improve on. I will improve at home by doing my maths at home and going onto Xtra Maths every day and complete addition and move onto subtraction.

Wedges Experiment

This is my wedge experiment I have did today.

Aim:

To find out which teeth are used for biting and chewing foods. Why do we use certain teeth for biting and chewing. Hypothesis

I think my front teeth will be used to be biting the bread. I also think my back teeth will be used to be chewing the banana’s. I think the back tooth of my teeth will easily chew the banana’s.

Results: I found out I used my incisors to bite the banana

and used my Molars to chew the banana.

Bread: For my bread I bite with my incisors and chewed the bread with my molars.     

Lunch: For my lunch I used my Incisors to bite the sandwich and used my molars to chew the ham sandwich. This is my photo and my bite marks.

This is my results on Xtra Maths. I got 65 right because I have been working at home on my maths. For the ones I got wrong is 4 because some of them were very hard so I had to guess. I need to improve on those ones I got wrong. I will go home and do lots of maths to finish addition and move onto multiplication.

Chopsticks Challenge grapgh

This graph shows the numbers of centimeters from where the starting bowl was and where the sweets where doped. We used chopsticks to carry each sweet from one bowl to the other. We used two kind of sweets we used pebbles and wine gums. Ta'ani and Joseph was the closest to the bowl. Sky's sweet was far from the bowl. Her centimeter was 22. This shows where the sweets dropped. The easiest sweet to carry because they weren't slippery and they were very thick on the out side. The pebbles was the hardest was the hardest because they were very slippery. The rest of the class didn't drop their sweets.

This is my results on Xtra Maths. Today I got 77 right because I have worked hard at home on my maths. I got 6 wrong because some of the answers were kind of tricky. I need to improve on 4+5, 4+6, 7+3, 7+5 and 9+5, those are the questions I need to improve on. I will work at home at all times on my maths to complete addition and move on to take away.

Halloween Night-Recount

Saturday night was so dark and ghostly because we went trick or treating on halloween night. My costume was a nasty soldier and my sister was a scary witch. Also my little brother was the mighty hulk. When it was dark we started to go to people's houses. We went to this house and it was totally spooky. There were spider webs, a skeleton and and lots of carved pumpkins. When I walked up to knock on the door a scary face popped up out of nowhere and scared me so hard. But luckily it was only a scary mask. When a lady came to give the lollies I was so happy. When we went up the street called Tripoli I saw my friend Rj with his mum and his little cousin. When I saw him we went trick or treating with them. Rj’s mum said we should stay around Tripoli because lots of people give lots of lollies. We went to a house that was totally spooky because their was lots of scary things like a spider web, scary skeletons, carved pumpkins also a dog dressed as a dragon. My mum took a photo of the dog because it was so funny. Me and Rj walked up to knock on the door we both said trick or treat. When we said trick or treat the lady gave a bonus of lollies because we gave her a huge fright. Her son Jackson saw me he remembered me from somewhere. I also remembered him to. We met in Australia a long time ago. We went to the same school and the and were in side the same class.  He asked his mum if he could come with us and she said yes. He got his bag to put his candy in and we set off. He was really scared because he didn't want to get lost in the dark. He said it was his first time going trick or treating. Rj saw a really spooky house and he said let's go to that house. The family that lived there was so kind because the gave us 3 chocolate bars as well. When we were walking Jackson saw his aunt and his cousin trick or treating. Then he said to my mum I am going with aunty and cousin. When it was 8:00am my mum said we should go back home then Rj’s mum said 'yep’ then we went back to my house to eat all our lollies.

My Recount about My holiday

Today is going to be a super fantastic day because I was going to the Movies, Zoo and McDonald's with my step brother Christopher and his girlfriend Julie. We were going out because it was Julie’s birthday. She was turning 29 years old and they were getting married.

First we went to watch the movie Pan at Sylvia Park. The name of the Cinema was Hoyts Cinemas, it was so cool because we were going to watch the movie Pan. I had never seen the movie Pan in my life, plus it was my 20th time going to the movies. My step brother said I got to choose the movie. I was the one to choose the movie. When we gave the ticket to the guard we had to wait for 5 mins. While we waited we went to buy 3 popcorn for 1 each , 2 chocolate ice creams, 3 dairy milk chocolates, 1 packet of M and M’s also 3 packets of chocolate pods and finally 3 fanta fizzy drinks. When we brought our food we went to pay for our spots to sit. My step brother paid for some seats at the back so we could see much better from a larger view. When the movie started my feeling was like I was going to pop like popcorn. I only watched half of the movie because I fell asleep. Luckily I remembered a little bit of the movie. When my brother woke me up I was so hungry, so I just ate all of the popcorn. When we drove out of the car park we went to the Auckland Zoo. When we got there my brother paid for the 3 of us to go in. When we got inside we saw lots and lots of people. We also saw a elephants walking with three zoo guards. The first animal we saw was the tiger. The name was Panthera. When I had a better look at Panthera he came  close up to the window and he started to lick  the window. When we finished looking at the tiger we went to look at the spider monkeys. The spider monkeys were my favourite because they kept fighting and falling off the tree. Also one of them jumped onto another branch. When I said “Can we go and see the elephants?” Christophers girlfriend said “Yes”. Then we went to see the elephants. When we got there we saw two elephants. I thought there was only 1 elephant but there are two elephants. I asked the zookeeper the elephant’s name and he said Burma and the other one was called Anjalee. They’re the names of the two elephants, also the elephants was big as a airplane. When we were done looking at the elephants we went to look at the cheetahs. The cheetahs were very very lazy the kept lying down on the ground. When I got bored looking at the cheetahs we went to the playground. The playground was so awesome because their was a dragon. But we could only climb it. After the playground we went to the cafe, what I ate was a chicken roll with lettuce, tomato, sliced carrots 2 pieces, mayonnaise and tomato sauce, for my drink I had a chocolate smoothie and another strawberry smoothie as well. When we had finished our lunch we went to see the lions. The lions were my favorite because they had gold fern. My favorite part is when the lions yawn because you could see the big sharp teeth. After we looked at a little bit more animals we went in the car and went for a drive to Mcdonalds in Glen Innes. We went to Mcdonalds because we were going to buy a ice cream for the 3 of us. After Mcdonald's we went to drop of Julie to her house and me and my brother went back home.

I felt excited because we went to the Movies, Zoo and Mcdonalds.
