The gipsy moth was is a biplane which was invented in the 1930’s. The inventor created the plane after world war 2.

The gipsy moth was invented by Geoffrey De Havilland. When the plane was finally built he done a test drive to see if there were any mistakes or left out parts.
Features
There are 2 big wheels in front and 1 small wheel in back so when landing they could land more softly. The struts are used to hold the up wing and bottom wing together.
Conclusion
The gipsy moth plane came to the USA in 1868. Étienne Léopold Trouvelot bring the plane to the USA in 1868.
