Finding out about coalition

Today we found out what is a coalition suppose to mean. A coalition means a brief alliance for a combined action to form a government and to find out who will become the new prime minister of Auckland. A coalition is mostly used to join parties e.g Green and Labour can come together to make a coalition. We also found out who is our MP for our local community. Our MP for our community is Denise lee. Denise lee is in the National political party.

  1. Kia ora Tai, Oh Hsen, carl and AJ,

My name is Mitchell and I am a student a Karoro School. We have been doing work around elections in my class as well. You presentation on coalition is is great. You did a great job on describing what coalition is and when it occurs. Next time you could try and focus your whole presentation on your main subject rather than just three slides.

In my class we had to form political parties of our own. We then had to make pamphlets and posters to put around the school. We had to make a T.V commercial and all of our party members had to make a political speech. We then chose the best speech and spoke it to the school. The school then voted for the party they wanted. Camerons party, the potato peelers, won.

Your presentation was great. You did a great job on describing what coalition is and when it occurs. Next time you could try and focus your whole presentation on your main subject rather than just three slides. Apart from that, it is really good.

    Sincerely, Mitchell
